Winchester Community Mental Health Center, Inc. offers Mental Health and Substance Abuse Partial Hospitalization Program five days a week. We also offer Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program 4 days a week and Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program three days a week. These programs to help avoid hospitalization or work as a transition from the hospital into the community.

At the WCMHC, our Behavioral Health Partial Hospital Program and Intensive Outpatient Program, we help individuals to develop skills that improve their mood and ability to function in hopes of allowing them to better cope with life circumstances. To achieve this mission, the program utilizes psychoeducational groups, individual and family therapy and medication management for a wide range of conditions such as mood and anxiety disorders, depression, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders.

Our Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs are useful as a step-down transition from acute inpatient care or as an alternative to inpatient treatment. The programs run Monday – Friday between the hours of 9:00 am – 2:00 pm.
